NRF 2011: Can I Visit Any Exhibitors For You?

Hi All - I'll be at the National retail Federation's show at New York's Javits Center Monday and Tuesday, and since many of you may not be there, I was wondering if there are any exhibitors I can visit on your behalf.

Below is a link to the show's exhibitor list -- let me know via a reply to this post if there are any exhibitors you'd like me to report on for you. I have some gaps in my schedule, and I'll see as many as I can and report back to you.

Hey Joe,

I'll be at NRF on Monday and Tuesday too. Maybe we can meet up for a drink or lunch or something. I am specifically going to look into some software solutions and wouldn't mind another opinion from somone with experience and insight.

I am considering a proposal from IT Retail for my POS system, but I want to see what else may be around. My security guy wants me to check out I3 at booth 3330. If you don't mind I will pick your brain for other suggestions.

I know IT Retail very well -- in fact, it's creator, Martin Goodwin, is a close industry friends, and believe it or not, is an independent grocer with five stores in Calif. One of them is www.goodwinsorganics.com. I profiled IT Retail on PG a couple of years ago, I'll try and find it for you. he created the system because he felt other POS systems weren't meeting the needs of smaller independents. Bob henry is pres., and also works for Goodwins, as well as his son, Luke Henry, who blogs on the network often on technology. They are all on the network, as well. Bob will be presenting at NGA.
