IGN Members Helping the Community: Brown's Super Stores and Teens4Good Help Develop Local Farms

Brown’s Super Stores, Inc. operates 10 ShopRite supermarkets in the Delaware Valley -- and is a member of retailer-owned cooperative Wakefern. Jeff Brown, a fourth generation Philadelphia grocer, is the founder, President and CEO of the company, which employs more than 2,300 associates.

Brown’s is actively engaged in working with community groups that fight hunger, prevent violence, and help underprivileged youth have a brighter future by preparing them for viable careers.

This past July Brown's teamed up with Teens5Good to develop farms near all of Brown's ShopRites to produce local produce catering to each of the local stores. Here are some photos from the event.
