PG Seeking Nominations for Outstanding Independent Awards

Progressive Grocer is presently seeking entries for its annual Outstanding Independents awards program, which annually recognizes excellence from among the ranks of innovative and successful independent grocers.

The annual Independent Awards program, which will again pay tribute to the commitment and achievements of two leading independent grocery organizations in PG’s February 2012 issue, is seeking nominees in two categories:

• Outstanding Independent Grocer – Self-supplied
• Outstanding Independent Grocer – Wholesaler-supplied

Both classes of PG’s Outstanding Independent winners will also be formally recognized at the National Grocers Association (NGA) annual convention in February, and will be profiled in the February 2012 issue of Progressive Grocer.

All entries, which are due November 18, must include a brief summary (not to exceed 500 words), submitted as an attachment in a Microsoft Word document, detailing why your company deserves to be recognized as one of PG’s 2012 Outstanding Independent award winners.

• Wholesaler Name (If none, enter self-supplied):
